Right , this may be my effect on computers or it could be bf2, but 5 mins after i get into a server the audio starts popping like crazy then the game laggs only to crash to desktop or the whole computer, then my oboard sound gives me error code 10 refusing to start, so my only optiion is to completely remove the sound drivers and reinstall, so everytime i wanna play bf2 for 5 mins ive tio completely reinstall my onboard sound drivers completely, im using realetk ac97 audio

Get the latest drivers from realtek site not your motherboard makers.

got them off realtek , didnt work out,, but after 3 days of non stop bitching to al and kromsligo( i know them off the internet) ive replaced everythign on the comp except the hard drive and me thinks it may have been the ram, so any1 else with the same problem, do a memtest fer a few hours

Heh, I had that problem maybe not so severe but the audio was popping and generating high pitched noises and then pop. It annoyed me so much that I installed my audigy soundcard and everything worked okay.

The only problem I had was that I could not use my 5.1 speakers. Last night I got the updated ac'97 realtek driver and the onboard sound is fine and using all my speakers again instead of just 2. :o

If you got ac'97 audio, download these drivers from abit.
They should sort out the sound, dont give up by buying a new soundcard.

buy a cheapo PCI sound card.
    disable motherboard sound.
sorted for like, 10 euro tops.
