I'm looking to buy new cymbals (crash, ride, hi-hats and a cymbal stand) for my Pearl Target set seeing as the symbals that came with it are useless!

Can anyone recommend anything for around €500? or any advice when buying?

They're a good cymbal brand, original handmade turkish cymbals for less than 300eur. But I'd put this in the "gamble" file because all handmade cymbals sound different, you never know just quite what youre gonna get. but if you dont like em, just send em back. You could get some real gems tho. Istanbul know what they're doing.

the zbt has a nice ride and an ok set of hi hats, the crash stinks though.dunoo much bout the istambulls cept that the guy from mudvayne uses the higher up ones.

I was looking at a set of Sabian cymbals for 395e
I forget the name though ... !
would Sabian be good value?
