    Hi,

Fed up with paying Sky's extortionate prices, I'm thinking of going with NTL digital.

My question, does anyone know of a way to distribute the TV signals around the house other than using a wireless videosender?

My current Sky setup is wired, whereby I have a 4-way amp with cable running to the other tvs.
These are controlled with TV link magic eyes so I can change the channel on the digibox.

Is there anyway of havng a similiar setup with NTL?

    Any advice much appreciated.

Nothing cheap is good. I got NTL digital because it is 25 Euros a month and it has never worked. During the day, 2 channels work out of 60. When the sun goes down about 30 channels out of 60 work. Even then, they are always freezing or pixellating. NTL have been out 4 times and still have not fixed it.

I take it you are on the MMDS system, I have their cable system with their basic digital package of about 100 channels and I find it excellent over all.

Now and again there may be slight intermittent blank screens but its very rare and for the extra €10pm on top of the basic €19.99 for the cable, (which I was also paying while I subscribed to Sky Digital), I think its good value.

The new little pace boxes which they give out now have 2 scart connections on them, You could connect the second to your VCR and send it around the house that way.

With regards to changing channels you could try the one of those remote extenders. I use these and they work very well with excellent coverage on them.

The answer the original questions, you can easily distribute the 18 basic analog channels around your house using coax cable. Very easy to do.

You can also get multiple digital boxes. A second digital mirror sub costs €5 per month per box. On each mirror sub you get all the channels that are on theprimary box, so if you are getting sports and movies on the primary box, then you will also get them on all the mirror subs.
