Ok, so everyone is familiar with this running joke. Obviously, the guy is a twat and everyone knows it but the fun is in pretending he is cool (either that or everyone has gone mad). This seems to have peaked now; once "The Hoff" himself starts believing everyone thinks he is cool, surely that is Mission Accomplished and we can all please focus on reverse psychologically ridiculing Chuck Norris instead.

The Hoff get ejected from Wimbeldon:

"First, the 53-year-old actor had a blazing row outside Centre Court. Guards would not let him in because he did not have a valid ticket. Then he was banned from press and players’ bars as he tried to get another drink. Hasselhoff, who has fought a long battle with booze, yelled at staff: “You should let me in. Do you know who I am? I’m The Hoff.” Hasselhoff then downed beer after beer and was later seen staggering... Security chiefs ordered Hoff out. One guard said: “He was steaming drunk.”

First of all that story is almost completely fabricated. He was escorted by some Wimbledon guards after there was a problem with his pass which he later commented was resolved quickly. He was in an arm sling the whole time for gods sake.

Secondly he was shaving when he hurt himself with the chandelier (hence the arm sling).
