Trying to find an estate I have to get to tonight on Google Maps without much luck. Anyone know where Beaufort Downs is in Rathfarnham?

Fancy pinpointing it and posting a link to it here? Thanks!

Go to www.sdcc.ie and look up 'planning application maps' and type in the address.

No offence, but this could be in either the GM forum, or the Dublin forum.

I can see the anti-Dublin-posts-in-the-After-Hours-forum rolling in pretty soon.

Sorry, didn't realise there was a Google Maps forum...

Thanks for the link crosstownk but the maps on that site are atrocious, fine for an up close photo, very difficult to use for navigation.

I'll presume you're coming from the City direction...

Up Rathfarham Road, pass Rathfarnham Castle on the left, keep left through the lights there and again at the Yellow House. At the next lights (400m on) turn right. You'll see a large traffic island with chestnut trees ahead. At the end of the island, turn right. That's Beaufort Downs. If you need directions from elsewhere, feel free to ask me.

    :)

Do you know Loreto Beaufort? It's near there, just off the Grange Road.
I always find this good when trying to find somewhere
