I know a fella here in Cork could give that fella a run for his money. He's not even drinkin full pints. I've seen a naggon of vodka being drank in less than 2 seconds. That was utterly disgusting.

thats crazy - one mouthful and its gone! Quickest I could ever manage was 1 in about 7 secs.

I don't know for the freak out factor??? Why bother learning to eat fire and juggle and stuff like that?

I knew a guy that could do that but with full pints.He could get a whole pint of guinness down in under 2 seconds,needless to say we all lost money to him betting there was no way he could do it,we were wrong.Something to do with they dont need to swallow.

Atleast there is a challenge in manipulating fire or controlling several different items at once.

Personally I would find either of those two more impressive then 6 beers in 10 seconds

And as for their need not to swallow - technically they are just keeping their throat open and its basically pouring the beer straight down into the stomach

ones that size i say i could come close to 6 in 10 secs too

but yeah theres always free drink to be gotten from betting people for it !

used to work in a bar in london where they did weekly ale drinking competitions, using huge receptacles, called yards and half-yards...some of those guys were bloody amazing, seemed to defy the laws of biology..the amount of liquid the human stomach can hold...A yard of ale in 7-8 seconds, awesome..in a sad and deluded kind of way.....

i've seen yard of ale contests and plenty of ale going right back into the glass.

Yeah, i was going to mention that less than pleasant downside of the yard of ale contest...the direct regurgitation, but, and heres the kicker, if all the ale had left the yard,even for a millisecond before the, ahem, reflux, the time stood!!!

Ah those were the days.....

By the way dont try the yard with lager, too gassy.....

I can do it in just over 12 seconds, my timing on the pint glass swap is where I lose it. There is no real point in swallowing liquid so if you dont close your throat its not that bad. Also the tilt of the head and glass is important.

Great party trick right up to the point where you puke it all back out. Nothing and I repeat, nothing can kill a chance with a bird like projectile vomit.
