    No need for that.

Now GeorgeBailey, thats just mischeivious and mean spirited of you...go to the corner...and no turning round or you'll get a belt of my cyber ruler.....

Go to one of the army surplus/camping stores at the end of Henry street, and grab a pair...dont pay more tha 30-35 yo yo's..dont get the moleskin ones.... too heavy for the weather....enjoy the gig...

    Try a hemp store.

Hemp >> Cotton for strength. I haven't been in Dublin lately to purchase some, but I believe hemp actually gets softer/smoother as it's worn in?
Can't say I know of any pricing though.

Hemp is terrible stuff, I had a pair of shoes made out of it fall apart in a matter of weeks.

    FYI
Went down to Army Bargains at lunch time and picked up a pair for €20. Millets had a similar pair for €30.

I saw a ton of them in some shop in Templebar. Can't remember which one, but the same shop had those (bent) frilly shirts.
