    im still confused to be jaysus about reps and sets,im never really sure if im doing enough of both.

    so im wondering what people around here do cause i need help!!!!!!!!!!:(

    My method is 3 sets and if I can do 10 reps without fail ofr the 3 sets i move up weight and start at 6-8 and over time build to 10 reps each set and thne move up again.

    dunno how scientific that it but I seem to make some gains that way.

    Reps and sets are a pretty individual thing, and the most revealing factor about how you will respond high/low reps/sets is the distribution of different muscle fibres that YOU have.

    As such, i would suggest you do an 8 to 12 week program centered around high reps, then another 8 to 12 weeks around low reps, and so on.....keep track of your strenght and gains during these periods and see which works best for you.

    Finding your optimal training zone takes time, and while it is good to change things up, it is also good to stick to the one protocol at times and see exactly what it is doing for you.

    Basically the answer to your question will only be found by hard work and correct application of effort in the gym.
