    Myself and a mate are going to travel around the world on motorbikes for charity. My VERY lofty goal is to try and raise 50 grand for a kids charity in Ireland. I have at least two years to do it. Not ONE penny we raise will be spent in any way on us getting around the world, that part we are paying for ourselves.

    Part of my fundraising4charity plan is to put on a regular series of gigs around Dublin and Cork.

    I have some bands in Dublin and a bunch of musicians from Cork all signed up and onboard to do it. Obviously we cant have too many good bands/musicians in this endevour so if you are a decent band (by this I mean that you've been playing together for a while) and you'd like to do something that will get you a bunch of exposure and be good for your soul at the same time then please drop me a line.

    Most importantly though for this thread is that I'm hoping to tap into anyone's experience with booking decent sized venues around town. If anyone here runs one or knows someone who does, I'd love to hear from you.
