    hi guys.

Recently got engaged to the love of my life, and although we probally won't be getting married til 2008/2009 i have of course started thinking about the big day.

It has always been my dream to have it on a private tropical beach somewhere with about 20-30 close friends (i have a very small family). I would ideally love to book a villa or something for a week so everyone cold stay together and have a week long party. Have been thinking about jamacia? never been there but sounds amazing has anyone any ideas or maybe someone has done it and can tell me what to expect?

    Thanks guys :)

A cousin of mine got married in Cuba a few years back doing the exact same thing. Only 30 or so people at the wedding and they all stayed in one of those all inclusive resorts. It was located just outside Holquin in the north of the country.

The ceremony was held beside the beach, all smart casual dress, very relaxed atmosphere and because everything was so simple, there was no fuss or pressure.

They had a meal in one of the restaurants in the resort, a band was there already that played music every night and everyone had a ball.

Everyone had their own little hut with air conditioning etc and all food/drink in the 6 restaurants on within the resort was included including the wedding expenses.

Worked out fair cheaply too as they booked it through a relative in Canada as summer there is off season for the Carribean and Cuba, so it worked out at approx €600 for a week all inclusive. Not including flights to Canada though.

    Tox
