Well, i'm on something of a diet to loose weight (obviously) and I have cut out carbs, problem is there is **** all left to eat. Could some people recommend some healthy alternatives?
I'm doing weights as part of my work out but I have noticed a sharp kind of pain just above the elbow of my left arm when I lift. I've mostly been working on biceps and I upped the weight a while ago. It's weird, it's only with my left. Anyone experence this? Know what can be done?
    Help appreciated.

I would suggest you post your current diet and your routine, just makes things easier tbh.

    Right...

The fact is if your having a pain in your arm then you are damaging/have damaged yourself in some way. Your most likely not stretching properly but you may also have pulled a muscle or hurt yourself because of your technique. Stop doing what your doing and seek professional advice (ie: the people who are paid to work in a gym as instructors).

Diet wise talk to these people too and explain your frustration with your program. Any good gym should also have somebody with nutrional expertise.

In my experience 99% of these people are there to help and are just as enthusiastic about fitness and their job as you are about changing the way you look/feel.

Losing weight and getting fit/strong is not all about depravation and starvation. It is be really fun if you have the right approach.

Well, I am loosing weight and i'm not starving myself I was just hoping for some interesting alternatives. I don't believe I pulled a muscle though. It's a different type of strain. If no one here knows then so be it. I'll try else where.

yes try elsewhere and keep doing bicep curls with an imbalanced program while you are at it!

Hang on! Dragan posted what the rest of us would. Put up your current diet and how you are training - that way we'll be in a better position to help you out.

In Fairness Derm, people come to the boards for advice. Their are plenty of highly experienced people hear to help out, saves telling people to go and ask someone else. ;)

    OP,
About the sharp pain in your elbow, what way do you warm up? and then how do you lay out the rest of your gym work?
