My elderly uncle (who is 6'5 to be fair) ran the post office in Ballybunion, Co.Kerry for years. About 10 years ago a bunch of Dublin scummers came down to knock the place off - and stepped into a world of trouble! Only a young one was out front of the post office, and the lads pulled out a hammer to scare her, but my uncle and my two cousins ran out from the back, picked up a chair and smacked one of the lads around a little, took the hammer from them and had them cowering in the corner before the guards came.

I think I can guarantee they avoided Ballybunion after that! Would be very, very surprised if they didn't get a few well deserved smacks on route to and in Ballybunion Gardai Station!
