This is happening since yesterday, before that all was working fine.

What happens is i setup my plot in cad, choose the plotter (HP Designjet 500), paper size etc print preview shows up fine, i click plot, the job gets spooled to the plotter and promptly after its done i get the windows error message box appear (you know the one where you can send a report of not) and the plotter starts up but stops with a error in its display.

I've downloaded the latest drivers which doesnt seem to make a difference.
Is it possible to have 2 pc connected to the plotter? 1 via usb and the other via printer serial (or parallel, which ever) port.

Anyone and recomendations, solutions, idea's? I taught of cleaning out the drivers but i cant find a uninstaller for them.

    Jozi

Don't know why it would stop suddenly of course.

What's the error message in windows and on the printer?
Have you tried cancelling all print jobs and power cycling the printer?
Restarted PC since installing newer drivers? Plotter is not connected to a windows 2003 server and shared by any chance?

Autocad plotter drivers? I think they're required in addition to the windows drivers assuming you're using autocad.
