Career in management or HR

Need some info from people that might work in management or HR....

I'm trying to chose an Open University or other distance learning course and was thinking about doing a degree in business management or human resources. I love working with people, have good leadership, sales, communcation and business skills and have run my own business for 3 years and really enjoyed the management aspect. I have two diplomas in IT but dont want to do anything i that area again really. I quit the self employed lark due to stress and am fulltime doing marketting and sales for a company now. Want to travel a lot in the coming years so was thinking a business degree would stand well, maybe with a foreign lanuage also. Would OU or NCI degrees go down well abroad? I had thought about doing a degree in music but cant think of any kind of decent well paid career in music apart from production or performance which would be very lucky to get!

What are peoples opinions of work in HR at the moment? Could I get into recruitment and career planning work with a HR degree? Any thoughts from people in managment or HR appreciated :)

When I had work to do on my career I went to a life coach in Terenure (think she works other places too) called Accelerating Peformance. Give it a go it was brilliant.
