To See or Not to See

From some of the stories read would it be true in any way to suggest that those who believe in the paranormal want to see images which would explain why " some " of the more unusual yet interesting visions are experienced, that's not to say that those who believe can't experience they can, but those who believe will want to see images for example, on the thread " Your Experiences with Ghosts ", a member said they were " thinking " about paranormalities when they immediatly experienced one, surely these can't just be coincidental that when people think, then they actually experience.

Similar to the fact that those who believe in Paranormal go to " Haunted Places " and yet you will find that most of the more extraordinary stories with some degree of proof come from those who believe, would those who don't believe achieve the same results I don't know. But this thought just came into my head, I don't want people to get confused with all the things I'm saying but I think for some cases like the one I mentioned in the first paragraph, that those happenings can't happen coincidentally, there must be some degree of truth of what I'm trying to convey.

Other notes to point out, well, I believe in the Paranormal, not all of it but ghosts etc I do believe. Now so that's not to say that people who don't believe just haven't had any experiences, because I believe and haven't had any experiences.

many people started to believe in the paranormal after witnessing something, so to some degree most of us at one stage may have been sceptical. thats my side to it anyway - i only have an interest in the paranormal due to experienceing a few things myself and then wondering what the hell they meant

There are a lot of opinions out there to why some people see spirits etc and some dont. Some people believe ghosts are attracted to sensitive people and this is why they experience paranormal. Other people believe if you open up to the paranormal and conceive it may be true then you are more likely to experience paranormal. Others think it a load of rubbish and believe you see things because you want to. others believe you will experience the amount of paranormal you can handle.

I think we all go to "haunted places" as you put it to hopfully experience something even if that something is only fear.

Me I dont know why some experience things while others dont. I got interested like My House due to experiencing something that I just could not explain and probally to many horror movies;) . Maybe thoese who have not had a paranormal experience have but dont realise it at the time.

What made you believe in ghosts etc?
