Really excellent shot.Moody ,atmospheric and beautiful muted colours.Very much the kind of stuff i like with good play on light and shadow.Much post processing? All in all, something to be proud of.

Composite? Its quite nice but I'm wondering where the greenish colours in the water are being reflected from.

nice shot - well composed. think iv the same shot on a neg somewhere. again with the green comments, but i kinda like it. never seen a tobacco sky like that either so its neither here nor there with the colours. id say remove a little of the green,so it doesnt jump out at ya and itd be spot on

Yup, I love the tone, it looks like the green is just a reflection of an extra bit of sky that has been cut off at the top. It's maybe a bit distracting but I can't say I'd complain if I'd taken it!

It's a very atmospheric shot, that you can easily imagine yourself at the scene.

If I was going to be picky, the shrub at the front is what lets it down. Gets a bit busy in that corner, takes away from the dramatic sky a bit.

Can you give us some processing info? Would be quite interesting to see.

I added a semi-sepia tone, then boosted the contrast of entire photo. The water already had this green colour so I wanted to emphasise that, I increased the green and blue channel of that area. Then I bumped the contrast a tiny bit more, and finished with some selective sharpening.

    Thanks for the comments!

Good work in both the shooting and post processing. Where is that lake by the way?

    It's Lough Talt, County Sligo

Agreed, that damn twig is far too distracting. Great shot otherwise though.
