We already have an established business and email address's relating to that as it is.

I recently registered a new domain name for a new business. I wanted to know how can I setup email addresses for the new business so that people can pick them up, reply etc even though they might be using the other business email already?? In a nutshell, to be able to use two email address's from one PC.

    Any help would be appreciated??

It depends on your email client. I've never tried to get Outlook to fetch emails from more than one account at a time. Apparently it can be done by adding all the account details to the Outlook profile, even if organising them is something of a hack. Thunderbird, on the other hand, has a far more elegant solution, automatically creating a new box for each address.

Failing that, you could always configure your old address to automatically forward the mail to the new address.

Might have to go this route, would the reply be in the new email address though.

    Appreciate the advice so far!!

If all your email gets forwarded from address 1 to address 2, and you only check address 2 for new mails, then any mail responded to will go from address 2.

You can set up Outlook to get more than one mailbox and you can also set the reply-to address so that all replies go to the new one. Don't have outlook on my pc anymore so I can't check the exact settings.

simply create a new e mail address in outlook or outlook express. when you wish to send a mail because you have more than one account you can select which account its sent from.. if you decide to phase out the old e mail address you can configure the reply address on it to the new address. than one day mail everyone an say i'm now on this addie..thanks.etc etc
