urgent exam results question

    i got 45% in one subject and the final grade reads 'EX'....WHAT THE HELL IS EX???????

    i am not modularised and my other final grade reads a simple 'Fail'..:rolleyes:

    so please any info would be ace, i cant wait til tomorrow to ring them!!

    Hard luck about the fail.Could EX mean 'exempt'?

    If you failed your other subject the EX means you are exempt from repeating that subject.
