    Hi,

Im worried that by the time im 30 my teeth are goin be i bits beacuse of this. Is there anyway of repairing the gum line to build it back up. Whats option r open to me?

I don't have your problem, but I know someone who did. He got surgery to pull the gums back over his teeth.

Why do you have such bad gum disease? Have you been to the dentist?

It was only brought to my attention about a year ago. My previous denist didnt say much about. When he closed I moved to my new denist which told me about it. I dont like the sound of surgery. Did it fix the problem

As far as I know the only way to do it is with grafts. Google it and you might get more info (& pictures).

There is no simple answer to the problem. The gum around the teeth is a reflection of the underlying bone.....if you have lost bone due to periodontal disease then there is really no predicatable solution to solve it. You can really only stop it getting worse. There are some surgery where gum and bone grafts are used to replace the tissue however the results are very variable. Sometime a referal to a gum specialist (periodontist) is a good idea espically with very early onset agressive periodontal disease. Remember as you get older gum disease is the most common cause of tooth loss. Get it sorted NOW

    good luck

Is using mouth wash a good or bad idea
