By that logic you should change your name because you're not an anarchist? :D

Grreen Day aren't Punk. I'm not saying the music they play is really bad and they've got no talent but they don't play Punk. And I also don't like them. At all.

You're not an anarchist and plenty of punks aren't anarchists either :)

They used to be such an influence untill they went against everything that they stood for. They changed their style of music to go with the current trend and they all wear black eyeliner and have just turned into a bunch of fags.

And also in their new video they have included the guy who plays shows with them records with them and obviously now appears in videos with them BUT ISN'T ACTUALLY IN THE BAND. What is with that?

Anyway like I said they've sold out and become a bunch of commercial prickbastards. I mean there is Green Day merch in Clarie's of all places next to the glitter make-up and princess crowns!

Don't get me wrong, their old stuff still rocks the shizzle(1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours ). But they went annoyin in the last year or so.

i agree totally. at least you are willing to admit that they used to be good, unlike most people who replied simply to make themselves look 'punk'.

How many times has this bloody argument (as one sided as it is) been played out in this forum?

I agree with sweet_ass on how "un-punk" they've become but I also think that theur music is very boring and repetitive. Some bands really work as a three-piece but aaahhh! Green Day are just so boring and monotonous!

    Just my opinion...
