Can anyone recommend somewhere for MCSA training in Dublin?

what kind of way are you thinking about doing it?

i.e. part time or 5 day courses?

I do it part time, twice a week, once in evening and once in morning in New Horizons.

I kniw someone else who does it and he does 1 course every couple of months in 5 day stints. Really depends on yourself.

If you work in a windows admin/support role and you just need the MCSA to have the qualification, you can probably get away with just doing the exams without any training course - that's what I'm doing. Most of the stuff covered in the exams is my bread and butter in work every day. Certain things that we don't use in work, such as Microsoft routing and remote access server, etc, I need to read up on, but most of it is covered in my daily workload.

I have one more exam to go for MCSA certification, and have passed all of them (three plus one of the MCSE-only ones) with flying colours so far. I find the best way to prepare for the exams is to use practice test software - I use "visual certexam", which emulates the microsoft exams pretty well, except that it does not have the simulation type questions that you get in the real exams.

The Testking.com Q&A PDF's that the visual certexam questions come from are very useful too.

There are boot camp courses you can do in a few days where you pay about €1500-2000 for condensed training and 4 exams (each exam costs €169.40 including VAT) all within about 5 days.

I think I'd prefer one of the part-time courses to be honest. I work as a tech consultant for a large ERP system so windows admin is only a small part of my job (albeit an important one). I'd also prefer something with an actual instructor rather than one of the CBT based training courses.
