I have a new house, I have normal sky installed upstairs- as i'm waiting on a HD box from skyireland.ie.

I haven't got the flooring down in the sitting room yet so i was going to put the wiring underneath the hardwood.

    - Where can i buy a reel of the cable wire, and is it expensive.
    - Also can sky box's connect to sky via cat5/broadband wire, as i have no eircom connection, only a magnet point.
    - If sky boxes can only connect via phone lines, would a splitter work sufficiently - or do they need to connect directly into the point.

apologies if im not being that clear... its monday:rolleyes:

I bought 25meters of cable from satellite.ie last week. You just go to the site, find the cable and type in how many units you want of it (1 unit = 1 meter)

Alternatively, you could try a local b&q store, but I think they only sell in lengths of 20m.
