    Hi Guys
What are the crimes rates like in this area.
We have lived in Mullagh for a year now and it seems ok.
My parents are looking to move over to the same kind of area.
However due to the recent post "advice needed" I am a bit concerned as to how frequent this kind of thing happens up here.

    Thanks
    Mark

I assume the OP is looking for advice on the Mullagh area... As far as I know, it is nice area without too many problems and there is obviously work available up there with Wellmans close to the village.

However it has grown rapidly over the past four or five years, with people moving up from Dublin and other parts of the country, so that might bring its own problems with it, but obviously no more than any other town in the country that has been growing...

My advise would be to get your parents to stay in the area for a while, in a hotel or B&B to get to know the area and the people first before making any decision.

I thought that to be the case as we havnt come accross any problems. I was just concerned we were going round with our eyes shut or something.

    Thanks
