    Well it works in the north no problems... I would say that it would let you on o2 ireland network but the cost of running would be equivalent to extortion....

    So you can text english numbers cheaper? Or your english mates can text you cheaper? Or maybe for cheaper roaming while in england.

    Both true. I got a SIM last month off someone from boards, I've used £1.40 of a £10 top up, I've been in the UK four times since. Got 300 free texts and a 5MB download allowance, neither of which I've used up yet.

    My GPRS roaming charges for the previous month on o2.ie were €90...:eek:
