Does anyone know why you can't purchase flights with a Lasar debit card but you can use a debit card in the UK no problem?

What do you mean use the debit card in the UK? Do some shops accept Laser over there?

You can use a debit card in the Uk and elsewhere if it is in the maestro system check back of your card. I live in UK and sometimes we fluy into Dublin and out of Shannon with Ryanair. Can't understand why they won't let you use a debit card in Ireland.

UK customers can buy flights with UK debit cards such as Maestro/Switch, Visa Delta, Electron. Ryanair haven't accepted Laser for a while. I'd imagine it's something similar to why they no longer accept Amex..high handling fees.
