Ok, every night when im in bed, my monitor randomly starts to click, as if someone is pinchin the side of it


I could sit and stare at it for an hour and it wouldnt happen, its only when i'm in bed, its really creepy. Cudnt be anything electrically related cos I plug the whole thing out at night

I...doubt it.

Its probably just static discharging, or the plastic shrinking as it cools down.

Was gonna say the same. Casings click as they cool down. Like car engines tick, etc. You probably only notice it when your in bed because thats when the room is at its quietest, and maybe its when youve just stopped using it.

My telly does the same, i wouldnt worry.

Yep, if it's a CRT monitor, it's probably just bits cooling down or capaciters discharging. It's more noticeable at night because they cool quicker in the lower ambient temperatures

Saw some freaky blue light as well the other night, but that's prob jus me goin crazy
