A French friend of mine is looking for an IT position in Ireland, hopefully with a starting date before Xmas. I plan to send his CV to recruitment agencies before the end of July. How long does it generally take for agencies to get back to you?

We are both planning to go to Ireland in early September to meet future employers face to face.

Any advice about going about things better would be much appreciated. Thank you
