    Just because I'm feeling completely devoid of imagination at the moment I'm going to duplicate what 440Hz is doing over on the boards.ie flickr group at the moment. So da da da daaaaaaaa, long exposures this time around.

    Maybe even extra credit for all those who resist the easy path (that'd be waterfall shots). Upload to the usual spot before the 20th July.

    Hmmmm ... time for me to delve into the gargantuan manual for my newly acquired SB-800 flashgun (which is almost as big as the manual for the camera itself) to see how to use the strobe effect methinks.

    I suppose it rather depends on what it is you're shooting ... half a second could be considered a long exposure if you were shooting something very fast moving, for something slower more like 30 seconds. In fact, I suppose any exposure of a moving object that didn't stop it dead could be considered as 'long'.

    Could be indeed. As with all photo challenges though, you're free to interpret the challenge topic any way you please. Looking forward to seeing the entries.

    I forgot to put in what mine was exposed for. I think it was only about 1/2 a second - does that disqualify it?

    Yeah that used to happen to me at the start using URL submission too... I guess I should really have mentioned that before rymus, oops! Anyway I eventually would just give up and upload a file in frustration... point being, the url error aint just you merv!
