I have a separate Sound card installed on my pc (the onboard is ****e) and ever since I can't hear the sound coming from TV from the TV tuner. I switched the cable carrying the sound from the onboard to the sound card and grand the sound worked. But then my video card stopped responding and wouldn't play games??? So I changed the cable to it's original connections.

Sound card: Creative Sound Blaster Audio PCI 128WDM
Video Card: Radeon 9800 XT 128MB

    Anyone any solutions??

A little check here.... make sure onboard sound in bios is disabled. Not great on soundcards myself... but why is there a cable going from onboard sound to soundcard... do you mean the TV Card?

the onboard sound isn't disabled no. There is a cable from the TV card to the motherboard. But if I change it from the motherboard to the tv tuner slot in the sound card i can hear the sound but then i cant play games :(

Its advisable to disable onboard sound on the motherboard in the Bios. You could be having resource conflicts etc. In terms of the graphics card.... not really sure. Any peeps here got any ideas?
