The TV program No Experience Required is looking for someone who wants to be a sports photographer for the next season of the show.

    See http://www.rte.ie/tv/noexperiencerequired/sports_photograther.html for more info.

I've no interest but I'm hoping some Boardster goes for it. Good luck.

I wonder what the odds are that the 6 month contract would be continued... I may apply later. Cheers for the link

I think thats more for the tv show isnt it ? I thought that that was a big-brother type reality tv thing or did I just read it wrong.

Didn't I see something before where a girl got to work as a fashion buyer or something in Arnotts, and she got kept on afterwards? Is that the same program? It's probably a fantastic chance fors omeone who's prepared to work at it and fight for the chance to be kept on, or take it somewhere else even.

I'd love to apply for it, but it would mean leaving a decently-paid job. The risk is just too high.

I'd consider it too if it werent for the whole 'being on a tv program' part of it.

I think it's going to be a student, because they won't be used to having full time work to start off with so it won't be such a risk to them. It would be nice to see someone with real talent 'making it' instead of just the ones that are better at marketing themselves and have good contacts. But I suppose that is just what happens.

"and be able to jostle their way to the front of the media pack to ensure that they take the best photograph possible. "

Maybe some ex rugby player with a fine eye for flower macros is what they need.......:D
