Well I was scuba diving and I saw a fish crash into a rock! But is was because of a current, so I'd say yes:D

And I'm pretty sure he ment bump:p

I think the density of water exerts greater presure between close objects producing a padded barrier to contact.
The fish has outside help preventing it from crashing.

I imagine the optics between water and air would make them myopic

    Cat peers into bowl
    Fish jump from water
    Into waiting mouth

    Other spin in tank
    Attempting to avoid
    The specter there

    So fast they dart
    Here and there
    That they crash!

The salmon I just ate might have been in a head-on collision. Then again, he might have been beheaded, lacking one when served to me? In any case, after eating this big fish, I think I'm going to crash. Yawn! Bye...
