Sorry might seem a bit dumb

Ive just started using Wiki and I was wondering how I can upload pics ?

Or if someone can direct me to a good tutorial ?

On the left column of wikipedia, there's a link that says "upload file" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Upload Once there, you just fill out the fields. Make sure you add who created the picture, a link to the original website and a tag. for example: {{Tv-screenshot}}—Screenshots from television programs. A whole list of these tags can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags . Then make sure you select what type of copyright it has, then you can upload the file.

Wikipedia has to enforce all these policies to avoid copyright theft. Here's a help page about uploading photos: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Uploading_images
