Anybody remember any of the following, just thinking compared to tv now, it seems we got much better programming back then!

Press Gang (One of my fav shows ever!)
    Dramarama
    Dodger, Bonzo and the Gang
    Knightmare
T-bag (And the pearls of wisdom, Turn on to T-bag, etc)
Spatz (Never really liked that, but always remember it)
Johnny Briggs (Nothing to do with Mike Baldwin!)

There was a few others as well cant think of any now though. Will add them later if I remember :)

HR Pufnstuf. That's because it was on in the 70s wasn't it? Before a lot of Boards users' time. Just googled it. Actually started in '69. I know it could have been repeated later on but I can remember TV back to the early 80s and don't have any recollection of it.

Man, the first one's long. And a bit too Ned Flanders for my liking...

Dude who played Jimmy was the Artful Dodger in Oliver! the musical ("Consider yourself..." etc)

and remember boys and girls the moral of the story is, "dont do drugs!" :D

man between that and the bannana splits who the hell needs LSD, and im sure somewhere in that theme tune they say "you cant do a little because you cant get enough !" still you gotta wonder what the kids on to get on a magic boat :D

that said does any one remember a show, i think it was australian, circa the mid eighties that was about an alien invasion. it was a bit like invasion of the body snatchers only the aliens looked like huge masses of seaweed in their normal forms and were forever finding reasons to swim about necesitating they slimily transform back to human form usually in front of the two aussie kids who were the main protagonists (brother and sister, think the older was the brother) apparently they were meant to hold these special stones on each side of the beech head at a particular time where they'd then emit a rainbow like effect with one side being pink and the other side being blue. i think the whole series was basically about the aliens trying to get to the kids before that time because this act could somehow stop the invasion.

all right i know its abit vague but its all i can really remember about it , i think it was on about 4 or 430 in the day. i just remember it being fairly scary for a kids show so if anyone can shed some light on it id be gratefull :D

Oh my god - that HR Pufnstuff clip brings back so many memories. It must have been repeated in the 80's as I can remember loving it!

I loved Knightmare too - I used to have dreams about being on it! I think it's still on or else there's something very like it.

:( Never saw Press Gang. Have absolutely no recollection of it. And I went back to college to study journalism. Nearly all the others in my class, many of whom are a good bit younger than me, are always talking about it. Feel deprived.
Edit: Just googled it. It was on during the years when I was 11 to 15 - the target age group! Obviously thought I was too cool for children't TV.
