    Hi,
I've heard a couple of people talk about him but I've never heard any of his stuff. He's coming to Dublin soon, whats he like.

I've never heard any either but he's afro-beat kind of stuff. Kind of jazzy, with saxes, electric piano and and a funky beat.

I saw the poster for this the other day and got it mistaken for "Fela Kuti", who, turns out, is his Dad and who is a bona-fide legend. Well worth getting some of his stuff.

If he's even half as talented as his Dad it should be an excellent gig.
    14 piece band.

Saw him at Glasto last year, excellent live. Really funky afro-beat with a modern twist, and a superb 14 piece band. He has collaborated with Mos Def, Common and Talib Kaweli, but didn't really include any hip-hop in his set
