Printing software needed

Just wondering before I go off hunting has anyone used or know off a piece of software that will take an image and print it in a circular shape with out loosing the features of the original image and also have the ability to increase or decrease the size of the circle.
I have seen cd/dvd software that will allow you to print your image to cd cover disc's but the problem with these packages is that you are stuck at the size of the cd/dvd disc and they dont print the middle of the image where the hole for the disc is

Yeah I know what your talking about depending on the make of your printer you should have got some sort of CD/DVD printing software with it. But I guess whatever they shipped doesn't allow the creation of profiles.

That's all you really do is create a new profile, most apps come with the profile for what are called full face discs try Nero CoverDesigner it comes with templates and the ability to make your own.

Just be aware that not all printable discs have the exact same dimensions, so some make leave a small outline (ring) where they don't print unless you modify the template then again some discs work perfectly with no need to change anything.

Although primarily focused on Canon check out this site for tutorials and templates for various programs.

Do you happen to have any editing software such as Photoshop that may only require a plugin to do this?

8T8, I got the impression that he didn't want to print to cd's but wanted to print images in circular form 'cos he says:

    > and they dont print the middle of the image where the hole for the disc is.

Yeah I wasn't too sure exactly what he meant but if that is the case the templates on the link I posted should still be usable one is for Paint Shop Pro* all he should need to do is alter it to remove the inner circle and be in business.

*That's if the templates in the download section are circular in shape they could be covers/spines haven't verified them myself.

Cheers lads,8T8 that link does not work but as Ponster was saying I a dont want to print cd/dvd labels. My 6yr old has be come hooked on "Under ground Ernie"(a new kids cartoon on in the morning).Fair juice to him of his own bat he asked me could I print out the faces of the different trains and stick them onto carboard rolls(the ones posters come in) to mimic the uderground trains on the cartoon. So while not the end of the world if I can only print cd/dvd label size faces but would love to be able to increase or decrease the size of the circle image to fit these poster cans.
Ponster I has PSP9 but have never really used it but will have a look through. Ideally what I am looking for is a piece of software that will allow me to either open up a new page but instead of being A4 in size be circle or turn an A4 image into a circle while keeping all the bits

That link is working for me, see if there is anything useful in the PSP templates zip file in the download section.
