I thought the whole point of Nixers.com is to find oddjobs? Temporary ones even, not fxckin Permanent Careers!

    Well, thats not the case!

Ive been lookin for a summer job and I keep gettin jobs I can't take because they're contracts. I even exclude Agencies, and still get the same crap

And any job on Jobs.ie is found on Nixers

    Its so fxckin annoyin

Irishjobs.ie owns Jobs.ie. Jobs.ie and Nixers.com are the same website.

The two owners left about 6 months ago and the sites have gone dramatically downhill since then. They used to try to minimise agency jobs. Obviously Irishjobs are trying to reclaim their investment so have increased the amount of agency jobs on the site.

One of the ex-owners loved the nixers brand so tried his best to have quirky jobs on it. I guess now that he's gone the new owners don't really care. They just want the €€€.

i was in the same bout as you till few days ago.
I hate to say it but that website never brought me any luck and i dont think its goin to be easy to find a summer job on it at this stage.

Your only possibility is to ask people you know or have a look in shops outside the city centre.
This is what I think at least in Dublin, dunno where ur located
