    Just a quick one;

    How many hours a week roughly, excluding Intra etc. is the Computer Apps - Software Engineering stream in 1st 2nd 3rd years etc?

    You can do zero for 11/12 weeks a semester, trust me, I did when I did it.

    The timetable is generally around 8 - 12 hours of lectures and tutorials though.

    Actually for first year its around 20 hours per week if my memory serves me correctly and thats including lectures, labs and tutorials. In second year it drops down to about 15 or 16 I think and then for the first semester in 3rd year when you actually have lectures you have about 12 or 13.

    The workload ain't too large regardless and its perfectly managable once you keep up with whats going on...

    First years may have a Physics tutorial every couple of weeks but outside that yes, Fridays off FTW! :D

    And anyway, my motto is "Do as I say, not as I do". :)
