It could be like a subforum of the fitness board so that people can post a journal with their progress. I think they are very motivational. Just a thought, I don't know if people would be interested or not.

Indeed I do. The teamtest one is very specific and well run! There is very little off topic posting.

Oh there is plenty, it's just that i am able to give people the specific forums to have a laugh and a good chat about other things.....i have found that this means they stay on topic along when it all boils down to the nitty gritty of lifting and gym work etc!

Thanks very much for the kind words!

for my 2 cents i think it would be a good idea, yes as stated before teamtest has one that a few people who post here use, however as that is more aimed at people who lift and this is more a general fitness forum, i think it would be advantages for people to see how people of different sports train.

Now that said it could be full of complete muppetry so it would be an idea to restrict it to people you ask to see it , that and it may end up that another mod may be needed for it if it went ahead

I was aware team test had one already. I have one on steroidology.com that I only started running a few weeks ago and I find it VERY motivational to listen to people's comments, to try and keep it maintained, etc. I think it's a great idea to have one whatever your goals are.
Although I can see the possibility of it becoming riddled with muppetry and spam. It would probably need another mod alright. Just an idea, though.
