    Hi all
    Ok here is the story

I am try to 3 Divx per disk, have it all set up nicely back ground and menu...every thing looks great .......The first ep on every disk will play fine then the Audio starts to go out of sync on each eps after that. by the third were talkin 5-10 min out at the worst part of the . Is there a better way of doing this ...........Any one any advice

I have tried and bought the following

    VSO DivxtoDVD converter
    SuperDVD convert 8.5
    Xoom AVI to DVD converter
    Nero

Well firstly you never, ever have to buy software to convert from divx to DVD. But I understand that if you keep on trying and it doesn't work then it may seem like a good idea.

Some people will probably ask you why you're bothering converting a lossy divx to DVD in the first place. if you want to watch it on your TV then connect PC to TV or convert it to a VCD (S-VCD) that almost all DVD players will be able to manage.

Searching the web I can see a lot of people using VSO that suffer from audio sync that get's worse over time and a lot of people complaining about the problem in general (some going to the bother of ripping the audio and reencoding it to fix sync problems).

All I can really do is point you in the direction of some good guides...

Part of the problem might be how you are re-encoding the files to PAL if they originally are from NTSC sources for example when using Nero it will say just before burning what the majority of the source material is.

In ConvertXToDVD try forcing it to encode to NTSC under the TV format menu, provided of course your TV can handle NTSC.

This problem affected re-encoding to the iPod as well but it's solution wouldn't apply in this case I think, you force a frame rate of 30fps on [TV show] XviD's .

ConvertXToDVD is generally my favourite convert to DVD app it usually does a good job in these cases are you using the most recent version ?
