It could be my imagination, but I just caught the end of a Rice Krispies TV ad where it ends with what really, really sounds like a young kid saying, "It's a poo stick." Anyone else heard this?

I don't know which ad you're referring to, but perhaps he was talking about Poohsticks?

Yeah afaik thats exactly what he's talking about.. I remember hearing someone on an ad talking about Pooh Sticks a while ago! We used to play that game years ago when we were kids.

Yes, I've seen that ad many times. It makes me crack up every single time.

If you haven't seen the whole thing and don't understand it.. basically it shows children playing around a tree and the basis of the advert is childrens imagination. One child refers to the tree as a "hiding place" (in a game of hide and seek) another who is up in the tree calls it a "lookout."

The advert ends with a child who has picked up a short, thick branch stick off the ground and refers to it by saying "It's a poo stick."

Although It's not clear what any of this has to do with Rice Krispies.
If anyone can get a decent digital recording and upload it somewhere that would be awesome!

The ad is definitely referring to Pooh sticks the game, just like the kid with the other stick says it's a light sabre.

I disagree.. I think the ad is showing a side of humourous imaturity by showing the child holding a stick that resembles a piece of feaces and calling it a poo stick.

By Pooh stick are you referring to that thing where kids race sticks in the water under a bridge as featured in Whinny The Pooh? If so, then you are bang wrong, my friend.
