Do - we should all make a day out of it. Whoever sells the first print buys the first round.

Who else has signed up? I heard they had 160 already. I thought I read that you get 8 feet of fence, it sounded quite intimidating... and expensive to produce prints and mount them too, no?

Well how about we all submit two each or something ? And make a big www.boards.ie sign lol. I'd rather display two half decent images. I must check out the rules see can we display as a group.

Tis indee - 'The exhibition space measures approx. 8ft x 5ft.' I havent mailed mine off yet. Was going to print it at work tomorrow and post at lunchtime.

Does anyone else want to share a space ?

Looking at the pictures there :

if its the same size this year as in that pic - then I'd guess for a4 legal pad sized prints its going to be 5 across and 4 deep, 20 pictures or so would probably fill it out.

Best of luck to whoever decides to go with that. Apart from my stuff not being worth flogging I can't stand the general public.;)

I think it's grand to display as a group because there's a pic of the clondalking camera club setting up their space on the site.

    Hmm, interesting. Very interesting.

Some large prints would take up a lot of space. :)

Guys, in that case I'd try to get two spaces booked beside eachother, you guys are bound to have at least a couple of shots each to display, some big, others small and to look good the displays shouldn't be crowded looking.

I think you'd do well at a show like this. Some folk are professionals, but most are just like yourselves, enthusiastic amateurs who want to see if there's any interest, financial ;) or otherwise, in what they shot.

    Best of luck.

Just resurrecting this one for a quick question - I mailed my application in the 28th and havent heard anything yet - has anyone else gotten confirmation from the organisers ?

If so how long did it take to hear anything back ?
