Just a quick q about 7 card stud. If i have 2 of a suit in my hand and the first two cards dealt up are the same suit, should I always call a bet on every street to try and hit the flush seeing as I'll always be getting favourbale pot odds...?)

Note: This is of course assuming that we think a flush will win the hand....

you seem to be answering your own question "seeing as I'll always be getting favourbale pot odds". A four flush on fourth street is a very big hand, I think a favourite against a big pair. Sometimes you should be raising if you think you can drive the other player out or to build a big pot early in the hand. Sometimes maybe you can fold if your cards are going dead or your opponent's board is very scary, but in general this is a hand you want to continue with.

But then based on odds, if we think a straight or flush will win the hand, we should call one bet on every street as we'll often be getting huge odds ona much shorter shot, such as 10-1 on a 4-1 shot...

well yeah that's how limit poker works, if you have a draw you are probably being priced in to stay in the hand. A four flush on fourth street in stud is an especially strong draw though.

Ok ta, just making sure that I wasn't becoming a calling station in this variety of the game as well.

I was betting the boll*x out of the 4 flush on 4 street up until 5th/6th street, then slowing down. I realise it's a monster. That is until you miss on 7th street....

I think it's about a 50/50 as is an OESD. It depends on how many of your outs are dead too. Apparently 3 of a suit on 3rd street should only be played if 2 or less of your suit are in other's hands.

Another play in stud that works well (well at higher limits at least) is having 3 of a suit open and raising. Online players are very weak passive and will fold way too often if you show strength (providing you're not playing way too loose).
