I got my ear pierced about 3 years ago with 3 rings in the outer cartilage of my ear, ya know around the rim. I haven't had to take em out but now I have to take them out for work. Problem is that my ear seems to have grown a bit and I can't get the top 2 out. There titanium earrings so I haven't even been able to bend them or snip them with a pliers. Any suggestions ?

    I cut titanium rings before...

What type of rings are they?
A ball closure ring should be handy enough if you get a nail scissors and put plasters on the blades then insert the closed blades into the ring and then open the scissors, the padding of the plaster should grip the rings and allow you to open them for the ball to fall out.

If you're really stuck call into a piercer they'll help for nothing, I know that Snakebite would anyway.

I have the balls out but the gap is not enough to get over my ears.

I'd still use the same method, use the scissors to open the gap wider, you'll need someones help.
Otherwise just go to a piercer, honestly they wont have a problem with it....unless they're dicks ;)

I got them done in snakebite, to be honest for a long time I thought they were rejecting but I didn't take them out. Probably should have. I might leave early for work and pop in to snakebite.

It's not just about the piercings guys, after-sales service is VERY important in the bodymod world and Snakebite wont let you down in that respect in my experience.

    Snakebite FTW!!!!

Yeah, they're lovely, told me to just call in whenever. I've had a couple of concerns, called in twice and they've been lovely, receptive and helpful on both occasions.

Just back, earrings out, no charge, fair play to the boys in snakebite. Now I'm off to work.
