Local people who had initially objected to the planned station due to concerns about noise levels said they were happy with what had been agreed with Irish Rail.

You wonder if they were told by CIE that the station is to be demolished within 10 years?

No appeals were lodged, permission was granted May 15th with final approval June 12th, it must be a slow news day
