Senses with Ghost Experiences

After recently reading a few pages of the thread " What are your experiences with ghosts ", it comes relatively apparent and plausible that ghosts do exist. One of the reasons I believe is the feelings people recieve as they see it. Some people get a positive and delighted ghost while some seem to be down and suffering. Ok, you can see a ghost, some people believe not but when you throw emotions in and feel what the presence is feeling, then it becomes apparent that what you are experiencing is something and shouldn't be written off by sceptics.

Has anyone else noticed the emotional side when reading some of others experiences. However, I myself unfortunalty has had no experience with ghosts, but you have to think why would people recieve the correct emotion in relation to that persons life. I'm sure if sceptics had this in mind, it would sway there beliefs a little more.

I'm not sure I get this thread. What do you mean by:

People feel a sense of either happiness or sadness from the person they see as the ghost. I can understand if you;re confused. :)

Ok I think i get you now.

A good example of this for some of us here is from a trip we did to Charleville Castle last year. At one stage we were walking across the top of a stairs and a few of us got very stronge feelings of sadness and some got a feeling of being pushed towards the stairs. Now I may be wrong on this but as far as i know some of us were unaware that this was "Harriott's Stairs" as we thought that was in another area of the Castle. Harriott was an 8 year old girl who feel to her death from the stairs.

Now this doesnt prove the existance of conscious entities but it does suggest the idea of something like Stone Tape Theory.

Almost everyone I know who has experienced "Spirit Energy" usually describes "feelings" or" sensations" like sadness, love, anger etc. In other words emotions so you are on the right track. :)

Yes I suppose it is true. Sometimes if I feel a presence in the house my first feeling is strange only way to explain it is as if you are trying to fit an irish plug into a spanish socket very electric. Its after I get pass this that I get excited or sad etc etc. Sometimes you get to know almost intstantly who the vistor is that is of course if they visit alot or someone you know who has passed over.

When I actually "met" a ghost or a presence I felt nothing but peace and well being but he was a family member who I'd always felt was watching me.

However I have been to two graveyards - one in Ardmore - next to the round tower and walked past an area and just felt completely cold, terrified and basically felt like I was being told get the hell away and almost like I could feel evil.

In Baltimore last year I had the same type of feeling but not as strong. But again I was compelled to walk away from the area asap.

I lived in a house one time and I did not stay in the front room on my own. It was cold and it creeped me out. It was one of those old georgian houses in rathmines.
