Fitz 50 PLHE early monday morning. A pot with 2 regulars(and friends) and a young noob. Noob has AA in early pos, reg1 has QQ , reg 2 has KK. AA raises , QQ calls, KK reraises and the noob goes all in for 110. The guy with QQ goes into the ank for a while. Seems to seriously be considering calling. Guy with KK flashes the KK to his friend. QQ folds. KK calls and loses. I was away from the table at the time but was told this story afterwards. The Noob only seemed to realise what had happened a ahnd or 2 later and started asking questions but was told he should have asked for a ruling at the time, that it was too late now. (a number of people saw him flashing the cards, he did not try to hide the fact)
The guy with KK, who is also a dealer at the fitz was later challenged by another regular on the incident. He seemed to think he had done nothing wrong. he claimed to have flashed the KK to his friend in order to get him to fold as he did not want his KK facing two hands. But he cost the kid about 80-90 euro. Comments?

The dealer who dealt the hand should have said something, and called for a ruling. The thing is though that if AA n00b calls for a ruling, the KK guy's hand will likely be ruled dead, which is not what you want. So KK guys's hand is dead, QQ probably calls and AA n00b makes not a cent more.

don't think the dealer saw it, and the issue wasnt raised until after the hand

This is dodgy play and the dealer should know this isn't allowed. I won't say name names because it's third hand information at this stage and they may not be able to give their version of the story here, but I'd be interested to know who it was.
edit: by the dealer I mean the KK guy

That is very dodgy and any dealer would know that is never allowed or is in anyway ethical.
I would have thought if QQ folded and ruling was asked for then the KK hand would be dead and n00b with Aces with take pot automatically.

what happens if he asks for a ruling after KK calls? but before the flop?

lol - i take it back...

Surprisingly large number of clicks on the link to my website from my signature in my earlier post (specifically referral links from this thread).

What are the odds that it was from the ip address of the dealer in question?!
