    Hi,

I am looking for a holiday for late September, but still want it quite warm so I was thinking of going to Zakynthos. But I've noticed a lot of the beaches are stony. I really want a resort that is close to a lovely sandy beach.

Can anyone recommend a resort that is near a lovely beach and will be nice in September? It is a holiday for a young couple.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I havent been to Zakynthos yet heading over on the 14th of July, I've been doing my research tho, Argassi hasnt got a really good beach tho St Nics beach is only 10mins out the road and thats supposed to be fab. Ive heard that Laganas has a good beach but you cant do watersports there because of the turtles, hope this helps.

Yea, beaches not great in Zakynthos, but the neighbouring island:- Kephalonia has some fantastic beaches

There's plenty beaches on Zakynthos, although Argassi is the poorest.

    St Nics is great.

I don't see any Irish Tour operators doing them. (Also looked last year after visiting it for a day, it IS gorgeous)

Maybe try some of the British Tour operators flying out of Belfast????
(May not be an optin for you though if you're from Cork or something!!!)
