I setup apache2 on my pc, so going to 127.0.0.1 gives me a page, but when I try access my pc from the external IP, i get my router's page. How do I get around this? Its a creative broadband blaster.

Not sure what you mean by that, but if I think correctly it means that your router is already listening itself on port 80. Change apache to listen on a different port, like 8080. You will most likely also need to give the machine apache is on a static IP, and forward all traffic coming in to the assaigned port to that IP.

    How do I do that?

OK, I got that done, but still can't get it to work. Its a problem with my router, and I've forwarded ports, UDP and TCP.

Open httpd.conf and change the line

    Listen 80

    to

    Listen 8080

    Apache documentation is your friend.

    OK.

You won't be able to check it from inside your router. It just doesn't work like that. Your best bet is to use an external proxy to check the page.

    Thanks, that was the problem.
