Its pretty good for cardio but thats about it....its aimed at the stereotypical gym user(goes for 20mins on the sat) weights arent the best...35kg max on dumbells, nice swimming pool and jacuzzi's....as my mate who works there said
    "its the ryanair of gyms"

Classic and accurate too. I've been there a few times. Not great. The manager keeps harping on about being the most advanced gym in Europe, yet no D/Bells over 30kg, only two Smith Machines, No Power Racks - hell they don't even have a single stability ball, they do have lots of tv those...when a gyms major feature is "we have lots of tvs for everyone" I worry about thier focus.

The staff aren't overly motivated either, save for two guys who are pretty good and one of the reciptionists.

It's what I would term a guilt gym - a place where you can pretned ot be working out and thus feel good about yourslef wihtout having done anything productive. Its worse for hte 5-6 dedicted heavy lifters, they kind of look lost and despondant at times, but they try to make the best of it by sighing to themselves and adding on more sets in an attempt to compensate.

Good for beginners, nice pool...personally I'd invest in a good quality fully kitted out Sheomra Gym in my back garden with real weights and no idiots, save me. :D
