I don't watch the show an awful lot, but, over the last few weeks, I've been able to get a fair impression about all the housemates. Except for Pete, anytime Iv'e seen him he's been cuddled by someone, or he's acting wacky, or he's just in the background making noises.

Pete is kind of a cross between Jim Carey and Lee Evans. If it wasn't for his tourettes I could see him having a big future in television.

Seems like a really nice guy and everything. He's adored in Brighton as a friend of mine is friendly with him and apparently everyone really likes him.

Only slight annoyance from watching him in the house is that he's a little bit too inclined to sit on the fence and won't stand up for himself.

he stood up to Lea last night and told her she was doing his head in,
he said he didnt fancy anyone in the house and that he wished she would
stop telling him that he has changed. She looked at him with with a mad psycho
look in her eyes.Shes just cant get it in her head that he doesnt fancy her and sees her as a mother figure.I wish she would leave him alone and let him socialise with the others she is always hanging around him always looking for attention she is a sad woman. Hope she goes soon.

I think he's a really nice bloke. Very down to Earth and he's not bitchy like most of the others.

I do like Pete as he is quite inoffensive and a genuinely nice human being.

However,he is a bit weak and a bit of a pushover, which is a little irritating, but I suppose this might just be as a result of being bullied for a lot of his childhood.

I think his personality has been overshadowed by all the bitching/paranoia in the house. When we see him in the diary room he is really active and funny, but in the house he seems to stay quiet enough because of all the crazy girls!

I don't think he is a pushover either, when approached he has spoken openly to people about what he thinks of them (Lisa and the bee, and some Lea things to name a few).

Yeah, agreed, a really nice bloke. To answer what he does, he is great in the diary room at deciphering all the housemates, the groups, currents dramas. I love watching him.

I actually think he does this on purpose, that he tries to give people a sense that he's weak, he takes advantage of this, which is why the girls try to mother him.

Occassionaly you see him stand up for himself or someone else, but generally, he seems more than happy to seem weak.

You have a good point there.

Petes nice but he's run his course I think. Its fairly boring stuff watchign him now.

Did anyone see this evenings highlights show on Ch4? Pete was in the diary room for almost 2 hours nominating... He was going on and on and not making much sense. It used to be funny watching him blatherin on in the diary room, but not anymore :( It was sooo boring I almost fell asleep....
